After a frustrating day at work*, there’s nothing like having a nice glass of local wine, while having a light dinner** while sitting at the patio table***, and then enjoying some easy-to-make, non-bagged microwave popcorn. Seriously. I love this popcorn maker.

It’s awfully hot out, so I think I’m going to chill inside for the heat of today, maybe do some laundry and read.

Accomplished

We certainly earned our beers tonight! Today, I pruned the butterfly bush, fennel, porch tomato, blooming tree, roses, daylilies, mint, bee balm, bamboo, unnamed bushed around the peppers, near-the-front-stairs bush, and in-the-butterfly-bush roses. Then I fertilized the veggies and roses, and moved to the backyard, where I dug up the area for a new veggie [...]

Boil Water Order Continues in DeKalb County
I’m so glad we knew about it before? I guess we aren’t one (or two) of the “Thousands of DeKalb county residents being advised…”, so I wonder how we get on the “advise of of boil notices!” list. The comments on the belated warning story are great.

Meh

Not much to report after the appointment today. The guy’s clearly a surgeon, and agreed that there’s not much room in my nose to breathe. We’re taking a stepped approach- corticosteroids to see if that improves breathing, and another appointment in 3 weeks when they don’t.
