Hunting

Friday night, I took in a large kill harvest from the garden! I brought in carrots, eggplant, peppers (sweet and hot), roses, tomatoes, and many herbs. With this, I made super-veggie pasta sauce (additions to plain canned sauce) and a fabulous caprese salad.

Expansion

This weekend, I expanded the garden. Whoo! I got another two rows of flowers put in (including 2 new okra plants, plus transplanting the okra I’d planted previously that wasn’t really doing well next to the house. Today’s work

We were super-productive again! I started the day off with some bacon corn muffins, which were super-tasty. Even Angus liked them.
