Hate-spooning incidents are on the rise at the office.
At lunch, Tyler killed some flying insect (that was trying to nom his food) with a spoon. So, he literally spooned it to death.

After a frustrating day at work*, there’s nothing like having a nice glass of local wine, while having a light dinner** while sitting at the patio table***, and then enjoying some easy-to-make, non-bagged microwave popcorn. Seriously. I love this popcorn maker.

Usually, we eat lunch together in the Wii room and watch tv. Usually, it’s on the home improvement channels, because that’s way more neutral than the news. Now? It’s all EuroCup, all the time. Yeah!

12+ hour days are so fun! But we finished the major project for demonstration tomorrow morning (I should say, we totally re-did the project after taking it back over this morning) and I finally found a dish at Jason’s Deli that doesn’t give me that hot-in-the-face, I’m going to overheat or go to sleep feeling. I’m a feeling a bit stressed right now.
Work’s got some pretty major deadlines tomorrow and Friday, so I’ll be in early and late to get those things done, plus I’ve been working extra to catch up with the “you were on vacation!” workload. It’s not so much a vacation if you just come back to [...]

As I was about to walk out the door this morning, Piper J tried to scale my leg, so I picked her up. She then went right up onto my shoulder and snuggled in, as if to say, “OK! I’m ready to go to work!”
