No.

This evening, as TCB and I were on the couch watching tonight’s f-ed up Project Runway, a giant cockroach crawled over our front door. It wanted to watch the show with us; it had heard “cocktail dress” and got confused.

however, i will give you one piece of advice, if it applies. Don’t use mulch around your house. My whole life we’ve had a problem with roaches. but my parents moved into their new house and instead of using mulch my dad used rocks, and… no roaches!

they like to live in mulch. not such fans of rock.

September 14th, 2006 at 10:15 Roaches are about the only bugs to die on the spot if I see them. I ignore spiders, throw crickets outside, but if I can get to them in time, roaches always get the business end of my shoe.

September 15th, 2006 at 1:59 I tried to give this one the business end of my shoe, but it lept off the wall at me, all “let’s be friends!” I caught its head with a slipper and then it wiggled on its back across the rug, trying to weasel its way back into my heart. So I put a step-stool on it.
