Friday night, I took in a large kill harvest from the garden! I brought in carrots, eggplant, peppers (sweet and hot), roses, tomatoes, and many herbs. With this, I made super-veggie pasta sauce (additions to plain canned sauce) and a fabulous caprese salad.

All yum.

  1. The hunter-gatherer at work. You could ditch the canned sauce and use canned tomatoes instead and add your own herbs. A pinch of baking soda will cut the acid in the sauce (it foams a bit at first but stir it down).
