Sleeptalk

Last night, I fell asleep on the couch after dinner. When I woke up a little, TCB suggested I go to bed, so I stumbled upstairs and crashed in bed. When I got up to get ready for the Atlanta Women’s 5k (ran it in 28 minutes!), I realized that he’d slept downstairs.

Apparently, he’d come up to bed, saw that I was sleeping in the middle of the bed and asked, “Is there room for me?”

I answered, “Nope.”

Don’t remember that at all.

  1. Undisturbed sleep probably helped with the great 5K time. Such a considerate hubby. Will this become a routine for running fast races?

  2. Congratulations on your amazing time!!
I believe we have all said some “crazy” responses when we speak first and awaken later.

  3. Hey, I don’t know why you were trying to wake me up with a squeaker toy. What else would I say?

Thanks, Lisa and Sus-babe! I think the uninterrupted sleep definitely helped in the race.
